Description

This mounting set consists of a high-strength injector holding screw and a matching copper seat seal washer. Both parts are essential during the installation and removal of injectors to ensure secure fastening and reliable sealing of the combustion chamber.

Function

  • Secure Fixation: The screw fixes the injector clamp securely to the cylinder head.
  • Optimal Sealing: The copper washer seals the injector against the cylinder head.
  • Protection: Prevents injector movement, fuel leakage, and blow-by gases.
  • Precision: Ensures correct seating position and a gas-tight seal.

Technical Data

  • Screw Material: High-strength steel.
  • Seal Material: High-quality copper.
  • Seal Type: Flat seat sealing ring.
  • Dimensions: Approx. 13 mm outer diameter.
  • Mounting Note: The washer deforms slightly upon tightening for a perfect fit.

Typical Application

  • Removal and reinstallation of diesel injectors.
  • Maintenance and repair of injection systems.
  • Common Rail diesel engines.
  • Passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
